While this site includes a lot of my work experience, this page is dedicated to who I am outside of the office.

Education

I began my journey at Texas A&M (Class of 2012!) where I was initially on track for a mechanical engineering degree. After about a year of calculus and physics classes, I decided it was not for me. Instead I ended up on a history track, something I had always enjoyed in school. I focused on European (especially Russian) history as well as art and architecture history. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in the summer of 2011, where I went to Kiev, Moscow, and Saint Petersburg. During my last year, I applied to DePaul University for grad school to earn a M.A. in New Media. This track allowed me to take a range of classes including human-computer interaction, web design, and UX.

The Other Stuff

My first and forever love will always be cars. It’s what prompted me to shoot for mechanic engineering and what consumes a lot of my free-time when available. I love taking apart and reassembling to get things running, or running better than before. When I’m not working on something, more often than not I have some sort of car building program (usually something from Motortrend On Demand)on instead of music. Ask me a question about cars (especially American muscle or trucks) and you could be in for a long afternoon.

I play hockey in a few beer leagues when I can and am a Chicago Blackhawks fan. It stemmed from playing roller hockey as a kid and going to skate at the Aerodrome back when the Houston Aeros were still around. From there, it was naturally fueled even more by 3 Stanley Cups in 6 years and moving to Chicago, where I got to experience the city-wide celebrations first-hand.
